Have your knife engraved for free
If you buy a knife from us we can engrave it for you for free with your name, a date or a personal text. Logos and other designs are also possible.
How and where is it engraved
We engrave the knife on the blank side of the blade. This is usually the right side. There are often no logos or article numbers here so an engraving stands out more. The engraving will be (depending on the amount of text) approximately 5 cm. Subtle and yet clearly legible. We use a Fiber laser to engrave the name or text in a dark grey color.
Smileys and icons
You can also add smileys and icons (including hearts). You can also indicate this in the "Specify your preference" box.
Engraved knives cannot be returned
When you buy a knife with the engraving service it cannot be returned or replaced with another model. The warranty stays valid, so you don't have to worry about the durability.
Special requests
Do you have a special request? Would you like to have the knife engraved in a different place? Then you can indicate this in the comments field at the checkout screen. Here you can indicate exactly where you want the text to be engraved.

The Seki Magoroku Shoso: Elegant and razor-sharp slotted santoku.
An all stainless steel santoku that fits comfortably in the hand. Its light weight and thin, razor-sharp blade make cutting with this knife an experience. The grooves mean less sticking while cutting.
- blade made of 1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of 58 ± 1 HRC
- ergonomically shaped stainless steel handle with diamond pattern
- newly developed low-speed sharpening technology to reduce resistance when cutting
- made in Japan
Sharp blade
The blade is made of 1K6 Japanese steel with a hardness of 58 HRc. This hardness ensures that the knife remains sharp for a long time but is still easy to sharpen yourself. The knife is factory convex ground and cuts effortlessly through tomato and other meats and vegetables.
Handle
The handle is made of stainless (18-8) steel and has diamond-shaped grooves. These grooves ensure that you always have a good grip, even when your hands are wet.
We think the Kai Ski Magoroku Shoso is an ideal entry-level series for anyone who wants to start with Japanese knives.
