The Kazoku Taifuu (Japanese for Typhoon) features damask patterns based on a typhoon. Each knife has a unique pattern that resembles a whirlwind. The special feature of this series is that the core is matte. This contrasts beautifully with the lines in the highly polished damask steel.
Combined with the simply designed handle, this knife is nicely balanced. The handle is made of crafted oak that is resistant to water. Thanks to its octagonal shape, you always have perfect control while cutting, even with damp hands
Naturally, the knife cuts effortlessly through vegetables, fruits, meat and fish. It comes sharp out of the box, but a good sharpener will get the knife to an even higher level.
