Fissler Pressure cookers: View the different series here

You have done the necessary preliminary research and have come to the conclusion that you want to buy pressure cooker from Fissler. The next step is to choose the model that suits you, because Fissler has several models to choose from. These include the Vitaquick, Vitavit Comfort, Vitavit Premium and the Vitavit Edition Digital. Where is the difference and which one suits you?

All models have the same function, namely preparing meals under high pressure with which you reduce cooking time, yet there are noticeable differences.

The different Fissler series

Fissler Vitaquick

The Vitaquick is Fissler's entry-level model. This is a simple pan suitable for use on all heat sources, including induction. The bottom ensures even and optimal distribution of heat. In addition, the pan indicates when the lid is locked.

Fissler Comfort

The Comfort is also suitable for all heat sources and, with just a bit more functions than also the Vitaquick, is the bigger brother. For example, this version has two different cooking levels. A fine setting for delicate foods such as vegetables and fish and a fast setting for meat and stews.

After closing the cooker correctly, the indicator shows that the pan is ready for use. The pressure cooker is equipped with a "traffic light" system that shows the temperature so that the temperature of the heat source can be adjusted. Yellow for tempering the temperature, green for the correct temperature and when red the temperature is too high.

Vitavit Premium

The Vitavit Premium pressure cooker features the Cookstar base and can be used on all heat sources, including induction. The Premium is equipped with many useful features, including a removable handle and valve, capacity indicator and three different cooking levels. A fine setting for vegetables and fish, a quick setting for meat and stews and a steam setting.

After properly sealing the pan, the indicator shows that the pan is ready to use. This pan also features a "traffic light" system that clearly indicates the next step in the cooking process.
