German and Italian design

Zwilling gave Italian designer Matteo Thun a free hand to design a new series of knives. The result is a knife that has a modern design with its rounded corners. As soon as you grab the knife you feel the well thought out ergonomics. The transition from handle to blade has also been rethought. Thanks to the seamless and crooked transition, the knife helps you place your fingers/hand properly and prolonged cutting is much finer than with other knives.

Forged and ice-hardened knife steel

Zwilling Pro knives are made of forged Sigmaforge steel. These receive a FRIODUR treatment after forging. This involves ice hardening them by cooling them to -70 degrees. This makes the knives stay sharp longer and they are better protected against rust.
