This beautiful knife was hand-forged by Yoshimi Kato, son-in-law of Hiroshi Kato. He was an apprentice to Kanehiro and Hiroshi-San, so he learned forging from the best. In addition to the knives he makes for Masakage, he also has his own series.

The nickel damask has a special pattern and combined with the brown handle makes for a knife that attracts all attention. The blade is thinly forged from VG-10 steel. This also makes it light and keeps it pleasant to cut with, even for the cook with long days.
