The Tsuhnehisa Ginsan is an excellent choice for the (home) cook looking for a sharp and affordable Japanese knife. It is razor sharp, has a cool design and a classic handle which keeps the knife nice and light.
- Ginsan Stainless Steel (61 Hrc)
- Stainless Sanmai
- Nashiji finish
- Magnolia handle with head of pakkawood
- Made in Tosa, Japan
The knife is made of GinSan stainless steel which is simple to maintain and easier to sharpen than VG10 steel. That slightly rougher finish keeps the knife's price low and gives it character.
The traditional handle is made of Magnolia in an oval shape. Magnolia wood has anti-bacterial properties and is easy to maintain. The head is made of pakka wood.
The Tsunehisa Ginsan Nashiji is a sharp knife at a good price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a Japanese knife that requires minimal maintenance.
