These knives from Sakai Takayuki are made of TUS steel. This type of steel is easy to sharpen and is needs hardly any maintenance. A nice alternative to Mac knives. For anyone who wants a Japanese, but does not want to spend too much money on it. The knife is lightweight and the western shaped handle is made of pakka wood.
