Are you looking for a really special knife? Then you have found it here. Sakai Takayuki took their popular Grand Chef as their base and looked at how they could make the knife extra special. They finally succeeded by a unique collaboration with two special artists.
Mr. Keido Sygihara
Mr. Sugihara is a famous knife maker. His knives are often uniquely shaped and can almost be considered works of art. He prefers to work with Desert Iron Wood. This is a type of hardwood from the United States and Mexico. It has a deep color with beautiful markings.
Mr. Katsuo Iura
To make the handle even more special, they have the famous engraver Mr. Katsuo Iura. He is a respected celebrity in pistol engraving (Englis Scroll Engraving). This impressive engraving is done by hand and takes the design to a particularly high level.
Pure Swedish steel
The knife itself is made of Bohler Uddeholm steel. This type of steel from Sweden is known for its purity. As a result, it stays sharp longer and is very easy to sharpen.
