Ryusen himself describes it as a "High grade model that pursues brilliant beauty and sharpness." Under the name Oukokuryu, Japanese for "black dragon," Ryusen introduces this line as their ultimate premium range.
The Super Gold 2 steel used, embedded in multiple layers of stainless steel and hand-forged, gives each knife a unique depth pattern. The handle, made of stabilized poplar wood stained in a vacuum, is both sturdy and striking with its natural knots. This handle is highly resistant to water and temperature fluctuations and offers excellent comfort.

Gyuto

SG2 steel
