The Blazen series from Ryusen

Ryusen Blazen knives belong is Ryusen's most advanced series. These knives use the best steel and are designed for professional chefs. The Ryusen Blazen knives are made of SG2 powder steel that is forged with a hammer. This makes the knife rock hard namely 62HRC Rockwell. To protect this hard core, the knife is laminated with 2 layers of SUS410L Steel.

Impregnated wooden handle

The handle is made of multiple layers of wood impregnated at high pressure with wood. This makes it dirt and water repellent and requires no maintenance. The handle is seamlessly mounted to the blade so there is nowhere for dirt to accumulate.

Wooden guard included

The Blazen knives come with a wooden guard (known as Saya). They have improved the Saya by incorporating a magnet. This keeps the knife secure and there is no chance of it falling off.

Hand-ground

The knives are hand sharpened by Ryusen's master sharpeners. In the process, each knife is carefully checked so that they are guaranteed razor-sharp out of the box.
