Need even slices for a potato gratin or for an apple pie? Then this lightweight OXO hand mandolin is a good choice. With the large knob you determine the desired thickness of cut (1, 1.5 or 2 mm). You scrape across the stainless steel blade with little force. What you get are perfectly even slices.

You can cut directly on a cutting board or plate - the non-slip base then provides a firm stand. You can also cut above a bowl by hooking the foot over the edge of the bowl.

The residue holder protects your fingers and also covers the blades when the mandolin is not in use, for safe storage. The soft, comfortable handle supports your hand during use and is non-slip, even when your hands are wet.

The handle also features a hanging eye. After use, the mandolin may be placed in the dishwasher.

Directly on your plate or in a bowl
