5000FCD Sujihiki: Impressive Sharp Design
This is the 24 cm Sujihiki from Miyabi's 5000FCD Series. The knives in this series are made of fine powder steel. The powder steel is hardened to 61 HRC Rockwell, allowing it to be sharpened very sharply. Folded over the hard steel are 46 layers of Damask steel that protect the knife and give it an impressive design.
Designed with an eye for detail
The handle is made of black pakka wood with a red ring and mosaic pin as decorative details. The combination of the high-quality finish of the handle and the special dark pattern of the damask make for a beautiful whole.
Traditionally sharpened
The knife is sharpened in the traditional Honbazuke way. In this process, the blade is sharpened and polished by hand in 3 steps until it is razor-sharp. Thus, every knife from the 5000FCD comes out of the box razor-sharp.
