Description
The Kumo series gets its name from the Damask design. The damask layers are shaped like storm clouds (which is what Kumo is the Japanese word for).
The VG-10 steel is hand forged and hardened to 61:62 Rockwell by master blacksmith Katsushige Anryu who has been making knives for more than 50 years. His knowledge takes the VG-10 steel to new heights.
Each knife is sharpened after forging and hardening by one of Japan's best sharpeners. Takayuki Shibata ensures that the knife is perfectly sharpened. The result between the collaboration of these two masters is a knife that cuts like no other.
Are you looking for a razor-sharp, handmade Japanese knife with a special design? Then the Masakage Kumo is the best choice for you.
