Mac Professional Chef's Knife

The most widely used knife. The chef's knife has a wider blade so that when cutting, your knuckles don't hit the cutting board. Superior steel

The Mac professional knives are made of forged German Molybdenum steel with higher carbon content. The knives are hardened at 58-60 HRC. With this hardness, they are actually in between European and Japanese knives. As a result, they stay sharp longer than European knives and are less brittle (prone to damage) than more expensive Japanese knives.
