Engraving method: Laser
We engrave with a fiber laser that burns away a layer of steel. This makes the engraving dark in colour.

How fast is the engraving?
We engrave it on the spot in our office. Within 10 minutes the Leatherman is made unique with your personal engraving.

Order online on workdays before 5pm? Then it will be engraved and shipped the same day. So you have the multi-tool the next day at home.

Where will it be engraved?

The most chosen place is on the handle. We do this on the front in the same direction as the Leatherman logo. This way the engraving stands out nicely.

We can also engrave in the blade of the knife or saw. You will only see the engraving when the knife is unfolded. If you would like us to engrave your knife or saw you can indicate this in the remarks field at the checkout screen.

A logo or image is also possible
Would you like to engrave an image or logo? First send us the design in the highest quality you have (preferably as an .eps, .svg, .ai or .pdf file but .jpg is also possible). We will then check it and send you a sample of the engraving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my warranty expire with engraving?
No, you are still entitled to a 25-year warranty. However, the multitool cannot be exchanged for another model.

I bought my Leatherman somewhere else.CanI still have it engraved?
Yes, that is certainly possible. You can come and visit us in our shop. The price for engraving comes to € 10.
