What are the Les Forgees frying pans made of?

The pans are made of forged aluminum that has been anodized. This is a processing of the aluminum that makes it twice as strong as stainless steel. The handle is made of stainless steel and is hollow inside. Because of this, the handle does not get hot and you can also place the pan in the oven to let your dish finish cooking nicely. The pan is suitable for all heat sources (including induction) and can be put in the dishwasher (although we do not recommend this). By the way, cleaning is very easy because you can get the pan clean with a little water and by running a cloth through it.

Safe non-stick coating

Le Creuset's Les Forgees pans have a "healthy" non-stick coating. The non-stick coating is made without the use of toxic substances. This allows you to use the pan even if the non-stick coating is damaged. By the way, the chance of damaging it is very small, because the layer that Le Creuset processed in it is ultra strong. So you can also use stainless steel utensils in the pan. The damages that sometimes occur in the pan are superficial and will not affect the baking.

Lifetime quality and warranty

Le Creuset recently extended the warranty from 10 years to lifetime. So you know that after a one-time purchase, you have a good pan forever. We have been using these pans daily for over 3 years and they still bake as well as when they were new. As a test, once every six months we fry a fried egg in the frying pan without butter/oil and this still goes perfectly.
