The Mabushii is the more luxurious version of the Takahiro and Chikara. The knife is more beautifully finished and you can see that in the details. Each knife is polished until it shines like a mirror (Mabushii is Japanese for dazzling)

The knife is made of the hard AUS 10 steel protected by 16 layers of stainless steel. These layers can be seen as a line pattern on the knife. Then the knife has had a hammered finish. This ensures that while cutting, food sticks less. Of course, the knife is completely made in Japan (Seki).&

The traditional handle is shaped like an octagon. This always gives you a good grip, even with wet hands. For this luxury series, a handle of Enju was chosen which is a Japanese hardwood. It is resistant to moisture and requires minimal maintenance. The wood automatically acquires character with use and by greasing it every so often you keep it in top condition.
