About this series
Ketsugo is a series of our own brand Kazoku. These beautiful and razor-sharp knives are made by the best knife manufacturer in China. The imported Japanese VG-10 steel guarantees very good properties. Until recently, a knife with these quality characteristics was not available for this amount.
Japanese VG-10 steel with a damask pattern
This knife has a blade constructed from a core of Japanese VG-10 steel, hardened to 61 HRC. This steel is much harder than the steel of European knives.
Because of its hardness, the knife can be sharpened at a smaller angle, making it very sharp. And it stays sharp for a long time! Moreover, it is easy to sharpen with a diamond or ceramic sharpening rod. On the blade you can see graceful damask of multiple lines.
Olive wood handle
The handle is made of olive wood with a beautiful pattern. A nice detail is the stainless head with a decorative ring underneath. This provides a stylish and durable connection between the steel and the olive wood. The sloping head provides a finer grip when holding the knife with a pinch grip.
