The Wasabi knives have a traditional appearance but are made using the most modern methods. The blade is made of polished stainless steel (Daido 1K6) with a hardness of 58 HRC. This hardness ensures that Kai's Wasabi knives stay sharp for a long time and are low maintenance.
The handle is made of a combination of bamboo powder and polypropylene. This combination ensures optimal hygiene thanks to the natural antibacterial properties of bamboo. The handle is encloses the blade in its entirety. This allows the knife to just detach from the handle and also prevents dirt from settling anywhere.
