The Kai WASABI Series excels through excellent cutting properties with a fantastic price/quality ratio. The WASABI knives have a traditional appearance but are made according to the most modern methods. The blade is made of polished stainless steel (Daido 1K6) with a hardness of 58 HRC. This hardness ensures that Kai's Wasabi knives stay sharp for a very long time and require little maintenance.
The handle is made of a combination of bamboo powder and polypropylene. This combination ensures optimal hygiene thanks to the natural antibacterial properties of bamboo. The handle encloses the blade in its entirety. This prevents the knife from detaching from the handle and also prevents dirt from settling anywhere.
