New Horl Sharpening Stone and Docks

The latest products from Horl are now available, including a must-have new sharpening wheel for Japanese knives.
Horl already had a good polishing wheel with 6000 grit, but now they have something new: a wheel that sharpens up to three times sharper. This is made with new techniques and materials. It requires a bit more effort, but in return, you get extremely sharp knives.
The Kagami stone does not have a grit value as it's not measurable, but Horl indicates that it polishes 3 times as refined as the 6000 grit. You first use it as a regular Horl wheel, which means moving the sharpener back and forth normally for a few minutes. After this, you add a drop of water to the stone to make it polish even finer. The result is a super smooth polished edge, making your knives sharper than ever and cutting extremely finely.
The Horl Kagami is perfect for the enthusiast who wants to get the best out of their knives. It's not for everyone, but if you enjoy sharpening and have good Japanese knives, it's highly recommended.
