Global Knives Comparison
The knives from Global exist in 2 large knife collections namely the G series and the Sai. The G series is the original series and is divided into 4 series namely the G, GS, GF, GFS. Below the difference between all series
Global Knives G Series
The original series of Global. These knives have been a classic for years and have won multiple awards. The Global G series are made from a unique composition of steel namely Cromova 18. The 18 stands for the chromium content, this ensures that the knives are rustproof. The knives are sharpened at a sharp angle of 15-17 degrees making them sharper than European knives. The handle consists of 2 parts that are filled with sand for good balance.
Global G series knives
The Global G series consists of large knives like chef knives, santoku knives, bread knives and more.
This is the original series Global started and still the most popular. They are lightweight, well balanced and of course razor sharp.

Global knivesGS
The GS series of Global knives consists of smaller knives such as paring knives, vegetable knives, tomato knives and touring knives.
These smaller knives have a specially shaped handle (in the shape of a triangle) for a better grip and ergonomics.
Global GF knives
Global has adapted its standard line especially for European cooks in order to meet the demands of the professional chef. The knives from the GF series are forged in one piece. This makes the knives stronger and heavier. The handle has also been lengthened for better ergonomics and to keep the knives balanced. The GF series consists of large knives including chef knives, santoku knives, boning knives and bread knives.
Global KnivesGSF
The GSF series consists of smaller knives that are forged. Like the GF series these knives have a larger handle and are heavier than the normal GS series. In this series you will find vegetable knives, touring knives, tomato knives and more.
