This is the chef's knife from the Euro Stainless series, ideal for cutting meat, fish, vegetables and fruit. Thanks to the long and wide blade, you will cut nice even slices in one movement.
Made in Japan
Made in Japan, Euro Stainless knives combine the beauty and sharpness of Japanese knives with the convenience of Western knives. The influence of Japanese knife makers is evident in this series, with knives made from rock-hard Japanese powder steel, hardened to 63 HRC Rockwell. To protect the hard steel and give it flexibility, 100 layers of mixed steel (nickel and stainless steel) are folded around the steel. This damask technique gives the knife a unique design and the pattern is called Chevron Damask.
Bob Kramer influence
Master blacksmith Bob Kramer's influence is recognizable; his knives are wider than those of other brands, making them long-lasting even with regular sharpening. The blade tapers off smoothly at the beginning at the handle, providing better grip and less chance of cutting.
The handle has the familiar Bob Kramer shape, is wider for a good fit in larger western hands and is made of micarta, a combination of linen and plastic, which has the luxurious look of wood without the maintenance. A luxurious mosaic pin in the center adds class to the knife. The crop between the handle and blade provides a seamless transition and better balance.
